ConteeWho is Contee?
For now, Contee is me: Alexandre Quach. Here is where I come from, and why I created this publisher.
Where I come from
I am an engineer, a graduate of ENSTA ParisTech. I spent some fifteen years between digital transformation and critical systems, at Thales, BNP Paribas, GRDF, Amadeus and France Télévisions.
There I supported programmes and the set-up of a DevOps organisation, trained many people as an agile coach in a software factory, held the roles of Product Owner and then coach on nationwide consumer products, and worked on the global roll-out of a product.
This path is mine: it is neither a list of Contee references nor an endorsement by those organisations. It only explains where my convictions come from.
What I took from it
Working with the real company
Budget cycles, silos, diverging interests, rules sometimes in tension: framing and adoption start from the organisation as it actually works.
After delivery, adoption
The hardest part starts after delivery: preparing the roles, equipping the people who will bring the use to life, gathering feedback.
The right problem first
Automating a misunderstood situation mostly speeds up the mistake. Understanding with the people who live it comes before the code.
Why a software publisher
I sell products: your teams receive them, understand them and can evolve them without me; the support aims at their autonomy.
I have taken certificate programmes at MIT Sloan Executive Education, Stanford and Harvard. I show what can be verified: what is built, how it is controlled, what is not controlled yet; and, where relevant, I seek verification by third parties.
Generative AI changes the way software is produced. It makes possible a factory that every organisation can own; it also demands walls, so that speed is not paid for in reliability. Contee exists to build both.
